As an American, I’m accustomed to determining the healthiness of my food according to its Calories. However, upon my arrival in China, this quick and easy guideline became extremely hard to determine with food items in China either not revealing their caloric content or explaining it in Kilojoules or Kilocalories. After countless failed guestimates at healthy options and gaining the China Chub, I finally decided to do some serious searching as to just how many calories are in those tempting boxes of Almond Pocky and came up with this quick and easy equivalent chart.
