You do not have to register to view the blog and forum, however if you want to post a topic or reply to a thread you will need to register. Registration will also give you access to additional features such as a definable avatar image, allow you to customize your shopping experience in the store and to collect loyalty point rewards which you can use to buy items. It only takes a few minutes to register so what are you waiting for?
Don’t worry. While your password is confidential and cannot be retrieved, it can easily be reset. Visit the login page and click I’ve forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you will be sent a new password to your nominated email account. If this does not work please give one of our friendly customer service representatives a call on 400-820-8025.
Attempt to locate the email sent to you when you first registered, check your username and password and try again (please note that passwords are case sensitive). If you tried to login more than ten times consecutively with the wrong password, it is likely that your account has been locked. If this has occurred or for another reason you still cannot login, please contact one of our friendly customer service representatives on 400-820-8025 and we will do our best to fix it straight away for you.
Please check that you have filled in all the required fields marked with a red asterisk. This information helps us to bring you a wider range of products and better service, so we ask that you fill out all these fields. Check for the red text prompts which will tell you which fields are incomplete. If no text prompts are shown, please contact one of our friendly customer service representatives on 400-820-8025.
If you are a registered user, all your user settings are stored in My Account. To alter them, visit My Account; a link can be found in the header of every My Local Store page. Here you can change all your settings and preferences.
You can select an avatar from our provided selection or you can choose to upload your own. To do this you need to go to My Account > My Profile and then go to the “Avatar” section where you can select an existing one or upload your own.
To post a new topic, click on the “Add new topic” button on either the forum homepage or one of the forum category pages. You will have to be a registered member before you can post a message. Click here to login or register now.
Unless you are a board administrator or moderator, you cannot edit or delete the posts. If you think something is inappropriate, please contact us via email so you can alert us to this post.
Emoticons are small graphical images which can be used to express feeling. The full list of emoticons can be seen via the posting form. Try not to overuse emoticons as they can quickly render a post unreadable and a moderator may decide to edit them out or remove the post altogether.
Hot topics are topics that have the most activity or those that the administrator has deemed of particular interest to the forum community.
Sticky topics within the forum appear below announcements and only on the first page. They are often important so you should read them whenever possible. As with announcements and news, sticky topic permissions are granted by the board administrator.
